TOP 5: Foundations

I truly believe that the key to flawless makeup is a flawless base. That's why my first instalment to my TOP 5 series will be TOP 5 Foundations. I own and have tried 30+ foundations including high end and drugstore options so I have been exposed to various formulas and the following are my absolute faves.

My skin: Dry-normal sensitive skin.
I have eczema so my skin is super sensitive. I will occasionally get red bumpy rashes or dry flakey patches here and then as a result. However thanks to my new strict skin care regime, my skin has seen much less sensitivity and great improvement.

The following are the specificities of each foundation. It is no particular order. For comparison purposes, my MAC Foundation shade ranges from NC25-35 depending on how tan I am.

REVIEW: Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask - Champagne

ITEM: Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask (Champagne)
RRP: $30 (Sydney Sephora Price)

Claims: This lip mask improves the texture of lips so that they're more hydrated, healthier-looking, soothed, and softer feeling. Infused with organic agave nectar, jojoba oil, and triple the amount of trans-resveratrol - the miracle antioxidant found in red wine - this formula heals an soothes lips.

Now, one thing to note about me is I am a huge sceptic when it comes to hydrating products - be it skincare, makeup or lip balm. I have eczema so... things that most people find hydrating does very little for me. So when purchasing this product, I had low expectations (despite all the hype around it). But wow! I was completely blown away... Like... completely.

Who Am I?

Hello everyone.

I am a 23 year old law student from Sydney.

I love buying, applying, talking about, experimenting with, and recommending makeup. I continuously make recommendations to friends, help them deciding best looks and methods for their faces, and constantly buy and experiment with new products. I also love fashion, skincare and manicures (and intend to spitter spatter these around the blog).

Nonetheless, after years of being passionate about beauty, it occurred to me... why not channel that skill and start a blog?

With the support of friends - particularly from my amazing boyfriend, I am now taking the leap. I really hope this helps other girls out there.
